Return & Refund Policy
Important: Obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN)
Before returning any product, you must contact MyCar Trim by email or phone to obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN). This number is required for all returns and ensures that your return is processed smoothly.
Returns on Defective Products
Our Warranty Commitment: If you find a defect in material or workmanship in our products, we've got you covered. We will handle the return fees, and if a replacement is needed, we'll take care of the new shipping fees as well.
How to return a defective product:
- Contact us for a RAN and return instructions.
- Ship the product back to us (we cover the cost).
- Choose between a replacement or a refund.
Returns on Non-Defective Products
Conditions for return:
- Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt.
- Products must be in new condition, with no custom text (default text is okay), no special modifications, and the red liner (if applicable) must be intact.
Customer's responsibility: You are responsible for return shipping costs, including insurance, duties/clearance, and taxes, unless you opt for one of our optional flat-rate services below.
Optional flat-rate return service (by country):
- USA: $65 USD flat fee — includes pickup, cross-border customs brokerage/clearance into Canada, return shipping, and restocking. Deducted from your refund. Contact us for a RAN to schedule pickup.
- Canada: $50 CAD flat fee — includes pickup, return shipping, and restocking. Deducted from your refund. Contact us for a RAN to schedule pickup.
USA self-shipped returns (using your own carrier): If you prefer to ship the return yourself from the USA, a $30 USD customs clearance/brokerage fee will still be deducted from your refund. This covers the import-processing charges billed to us when the parcel re-enters Canada and restocking fees.
Restocking and custom products: Many of our products are made-to-order or customized to a specific vehicle, which can make them difficult—or sometimes impossible—to resell. Restocking involves inspection and repackaging and is therefore higher than average. Our flat-rate services above include these restocking costs.
Refunds
- Once we receive your returned product, we will process your refund as quickly as possible.
- Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
